Honda Jazz - Honda's Endeavour to Outrun Maruti Suzuki Ritz and Hyundai i20

At first i wanted to do a hub to compare honda jazz with either maruti ritz, swift or hyundai i20. Since there is already a hub that compares ritz with a-star, i thought i would give the specifications in this hub and later do a hub about three cars maybe. Anyway off to the details.

Honda Jazz is Hondaindia 's latest entry in the hatchback market. The car has a stylish aerodynamic exterior that is sure to catch attention anywhere. But it is a costly car, priced at around 7.2 -7.6 lakhs. So its definitely in the league of luxury cars, as far as the indian market is concerned. The 1.2L engine is euro IV ready.There are two additional customized versions of the car , called Jazz active and Jazz mode.And there are 6 color variants.Now i will give the technical details.

In additions there are a lot of enhancements and security features . Security includes dual air bags and ABS, and a useful driver seatbelt reminder. Almost all features in high end cars are available, typical honda style.

All in all, the car looks good , but the figures are a bit down compared to the price. I was actually expecting a more powerful engine. So go for it , if you are car crazy. For more details take a look at their site.

For the Honda Jazz, the mileage claimed is 13kmpl in city and 16kmpl in highways. There are minor differences in the three variants, with changes in fuel capacity and other enhancements. Given below are three photos of the variants, Jazz Basic, Jazz Active and Jazz Mode. Not much difference though.
